Fibonacci was a great guy. Mathematician. He introduced some very cool stuff to the western science: Arabic numbers and also a sequence of numbers that is named after him. It goes like this: 1 1 2 3 5 8 etc. The trick is that each number in the sequence is the sum of the previous two numbers. What is cool about this Fibonacci sequence is that is the most famous sequence in nature! It's everywhere (see this video from ScienceShow for more info). So why not also in a crochet project? Like this scarf I made for those warm yet windy Dutch spring days. I used 4 colors and the Fibonacci sequence to control the number of rows from each color. 240 stitches long and worked only in filet mesh stitch: my Fibonacci scarf :)
