Two of the crocheted dolls I've made are hairy: a sheep and a monster ;P
It took me a while to figure out how to make the hair. I could not make it by sewing it in, it was too short and did not look good. Then, if a child would play with the dolls, all the yarn would come out (another no-no). After searching on the internet for solutions I found this tutorial for the loop stitch. With a bit of adaptation it was exactly what I needed to finish my toys :)
